Hi all, sorry I haven't been able to post up on my CNY holidays. But I promise I will do so after my exams which ends on the 27th of February.
Something to look forward to over the weekends,
1. Opening of all my ang-baos since CNY is coming to an official end.
2. Studying and revising iChem.
3. Jogging in the mornings.
Today has been a horrible day for me and I had thought of committing suicide after my Engineering Math exams because it was horrifying. I couldn't even attempt one complete question at all and I mean it. I wanted to cry during the exam and I was in a state of mess.
I do certainly hope no one in the exam room felt like I did cause that would be a very terrible feeling to do. People who felt that the paper was relatively easy and kept bragging about it, please shut up.
I couldn't understand a single question that was written on the paper and I didn't complete the paper (obviously) cause I kept jumping around questions after questions to look for inspirations to solve it. But to no avail.
So after the paper, I cried in the arms of somebody who was kind and willing to lend me to soak up their arms. Thank you Nice Guy. Took me quite a while to get a grip of myself but nevertheless I did it in the end. Of course crying has to come to an end. But now thinking back I still feel like crying cause...I am gonna get a C or lower grade. Not an A.
I plan to really concentrate on my retail business after my exams which also means during my holidays and I really want to work part time. Hope I can really expand my business to make it more lively and all. Good luck.
Now now, on a total different topic, we went to Just Acia @ Dhoby Exchange to eat with my class. I ordered the Ramen Teriyaki Chicken set. My meal was quite expensive and not as good as the ramen Shin-Shapporo Ramen had. But it was because of the time with my dear classmates that I truly enjoyed that part of the afternoon. Made me forget about my badly-done math paper.
I went to secretly get my friend's mini birthday cake for her because the whole point of the lunch was to pre-celebrate her birthday. Her actual birthday falls on Monday the 25th which so happens to be our Inorganic Chemistry paper which everyone dreads. We got her an angry bird cake which was so mini and cute.
Okay, so after lunch, it was back to reality for me cause unlike the rest I chose to head back to school to study. Well its not that I am meaning that they don't. I believe I could have joined them to like take a breather from studying (I'll talk more about this later). But they wanted to do some shopping and LAN gaming. Well, not really my type plus I have a consultation slot with my teacher back in school. If given a choice, I would really love to join them. ^^
Fast-forward, I met up with my lecturer who said he had to escort me to the meeting room for consultation cause its like this sensitive period for students to be in the lecturers' level during the exam period and script marking period. It's not like we can hop into one of the rooms (if we so happen to know where they kept our scripts at) and change our answers (if we have the time to find our own papers out of so many). So nah... don't think that is even a possibility.
Okay anyway consultation classes was combined with Feng Yi and Sheryl from my neighbor class. And it was quite lively to be with them. It was relaxing and all. So we had like some side-track moments where we talked about something else that wasn't totally related to iChem.
For instance we talked about university admission and how it was impossible to enter a Uni with below a 3.95 GPA. And we were told wrong. Mr Tan said that you can get a lower grade than that but still enter the same uni. It doesn't mean we have to DIE DIE get that 3.95 GPA by hook or by crook. But at least if you get a better score then of course its to your advantage la. And we were also told that when entering a UNI, we are competing with other polytechnics students and not college student because the contents of our studies are totally different.
YAY~
hope it is all true though cause it would be really unfair to compare us to the college kids.
Okay, so I had dinner with the Nice Guy who lent me his arms to cry in.
And now I am back home blogging about this.
Off to study soon and I promise I'll blog about my CNY!
Happy Friday you guys!
xoxo
