Good morning.

My alarm clock woke me up this morning at 6.40 am. And I couldn't get back to sleep.
So.
I decided to browse through Facebook via iPhone to see what interests me. (more on that later)
I discovered some pretty clothes that I could either DIY it, or buy it. (more on that later too)
But first, here's my mini breakfast. Instead of posting it on Instagram, I shall blog about it. Haha, why? Because....
Oreo-s are my favourite childhood snack! And I have like a few cartons of it at home I think I can open my own shop to sell Oreo snacks, Oreo sandwiches, Oreo chocolate blended drinks, Oreo ice cream. Yum. My mummy had a pretty hard time banning me from eating Oreo-s last year until I had a pretty bad sore throat. Serve me right.
Anyway, I woke up to a clean and tidy room this morning and it is all due to my hard work at tidying my messy room last afternoon. I feel so proud of myself. Good girl. So, in case any of you are wondering how tidy my room is, here goes...
( I got rid of all the dust and tidied almost everything)
.
.
.
.
This is the shelf just right above my study desk. I didn't get a "Before & After" picture because I didn't think of it. If you're wondering what the "before" looks like, it is just a shelf full of text books, GCE O'Level papers, practice papers, files, notes, notes and more notes. And a whole lot of dust. So here is my end "product".
I just merely removed all the above I have mentioned as my current course of study at SP has no use for it. And replaced it with my lecture notes practical manuals that I am using now (in school).
The two black boxes in the corner hold all my recent photos with friends and many many letters from my peers. Of course it's Private & Confidential but if there's a need to show, I don't mind anyway. ^^
(Black boxes, ring file holders and B book-stand can be found in IKEA)
.
.
.
This is my study desk. Apparently I had this very heavy tempered glass in the middle of my desk. Which is like a really pretty piece, fell in love with it when I moved in. Haha, my darling parents had it specially made.
So what I did was to clean off all the dust my table and glass collected. Had to remove the glass to clean it also. And I finally updated my calendar from a 2012 to a 2013 one. Its a pretty plain and simple calendar but I love its design.
My "before" study table had a lot of books and files and papers stacked on it. And there were hardly any space I could use to do my work. But now, its so spacious and I feel so happy for myself. :)
.
.
.
And tadaa~ Here is one of the drawers to my study desk. And probably the one that I always use to find the stationery I need. The "before" used to be like super overloaded with pens and markers and what have you. So I cleared it and put like different sections to it.
Staplers, pen knives, glues and thumb-drives in one sector. Pens, pencils, rulers, highlighters in another. Erasers, sharpeners and chops in one sector. Post-it notes, pins and wooden clips in another. Just a few for your inspiration if you need to tidy your desk drawers. :)
This white sector trays can be found at IKEA. (yay ikea!)
And yea, that's all I have for my room-tidying "activity". I feel so accomplished now and I love the way how it looks. #happygirl
So, as I was clearing all the "junk" I have, I realised that I have so many things in this room of mine. From my desk to my shelves to my fat wardrobe. And speaking of wardrobes, no matter how fat it is, a girl can never say she has enough clothes. For me, I usually have a list of clothes I look forward to buy. My list is never long because...I only shop when I have the need to.
In case you're wondering what I have in mind (like now), these are just the clothes I really want to get and my reasons why. If you think I am too long-winded you can skip my reasons as an when you like. :)
1. Wonderstellar denim jacket hoodie.
R.t.p: SGD 30 (if I'm not wrong.)
I love clothes that are made of denim, I love hoodies too!
DENIM + HOODIE = PERFECT
Been looking around for this for a cheaper price because I know the cost price of this might be something like $15-18.
I have a thing for hoodie jackets and pullovers these days because my course lectures are being held in freezing theatres and classrooms. It might do me good on those freezing days to wear something that will keep me warm. SO I CAN CONCENTRATE BETTER TOO.
I really need a comfy jacket of my own. T.T

2. Ashincans Cross pullover
R.t.p: SGD 25 (Can't remember)
As mentioned above, a pullover will keep me warm in those freezing lectures.
I've already gotten this from a re-seller for $18. (yay!)
But the colour of this piece is not true to its picture. Must be those camera lightings. ><

3. Cream knit cardigan.
I can't recall its price and where is it from. Maybe Twistpolka or Wonderstellar.
I don't really wear cardigans because I don't know how it keeps people warm. But it is the design that I like a lot.
4. Gold Kitty pearled hairband
Got this for SGD 5. Not sure if it is really that cheap or not. Or if anyone could have gotten this for like an even lower price. But nevertheless, this hairband is so cute. Shall wear it someday. Maybe Halloween night or some other time.

5. Butteredgun One Of A Kind hoodie pullover
Got this for a whopping $25. But from another seller. Not from Butteredgun.
I believe I could have gotten it cheaper but I should be contented with what I have. ^^
Anyway, I wasn't satisfied about its material. Thought it would be like those kinds of pullover cotton material. But it was slightly different from cotton. It felt a bit spongy thick. The hoodie drawstring wasn't also what I expected. I thought it would be like those thick shoe-lace kind of string but no, it was so thin. A good thing about this is it will definitely keep me warm and it fits me perfectly! (yay)

6. Butteredgun cream jacket with zippper
Another seller (not Butteredgun) is offering this to me for $22 instead of $25. Not sure if I should get this or not.Maybe it costs like $18 or cheaper.
Jackets to keep me warm. Any advice?

Okay so, enough of my wants/needs shopping list. Here are some clothes that I think I could DIY it and then sell. Of course I would sell it cheap. But cheap to the extent where I can earn a couple of dollars.
I have a few of the pink highwaist shorts at home, exactly the same kind just that mine isn't ripped until like that. Maybe I can distress them to make it look this way. But question, who will wear these shorts?
These galaxy print VANs are so cool. I know of a way to DIY them and have seen many tutorials on this. I'd gladly like to make a pair for myself but I dont have any black sneakers like these to start with. Furthermore, I have to get paint. Maybe if I am successful in doing one of these shoe designs, I might consider doing my very own DIY tutorial here. ^^
I definitely know how to make one of this pair of shorts.
But... I am bad at gauging how much to distress shorts and how much to cut away so you know, the shorts won't expose some sensitive areas. Another thing is the fabric can be replaces with some other designs, like maybe tribal/superhero/avengers/batman designs. Just to name a few. Shall try this one day during my March-April vacations.
Enough of clothes. What about DIY-ing your very own food?
I shall do this one day too during the vacations. So...I need to start shopping for bacon strips and find ways to cook it like that. I might need my mummy to supervise me or else I might set something on fire again. But hey, I am not such a bad cook. I've cooked like soup every day for my family. (yum)
And so to end of this blog article, here is a picture I found on Facebook this morning. I thought it was quite funny and I thank the illustrators and authors for making my wonderful morning.
Eventually, I thought that the doctor in this comic strip was just trying to be optimistic and so should all of you too.
That's all folks. Have a good weekend!
xoxo
